Why Quilters Do What We Do

This picture is totally staged, but I love it just the same. Benjamin loves all of his quilts and that is all one needs to do to ensure a continuing supply, isn't it?

Is he not the cutest! The first thing that popped into my head was Twas the Night---

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

Benjamin looks just like he is "nestled all snug in his bed".

Our Amanda has 4 quilts I've made her over the years. She is 12 now. And she keeps them some on the trundle and some up top with her at night.

Merry Christmas!

This is adorable! Staged or not - he obviously loves his quilt and pillowcase. Yep - we'd do just about anything for that, huh?

This is a fantastic photo. Staged is just the same as picture perfect in my book! Love it. This is a great way to capture it all!
