Feeling relieved and at peace this election day Presidentially speaking.
I'm sorry about the expected passage of Proposition 8. Marriage is marriage, regardless of gender. I've been married three times, twice to men who didn't seem to grasp the concept. In my not-so-humble opinion, if a same-sex couple can find the happiness that I finally found this time around, well, more power to 'em.

I believe that we will turn that around too. Soon rather than later.
A time of great compassion and fairness is on the rise in our country. I truly believe this to be true.

I knew there was a reason I really enjoyed your blog (you are an open minded gal!) and I absolutely agree. I had to chuckle since I was also married to a man who didn't get the concept...now have found long term happiness with the woman of my dreams...
Yes, we did, indeed! Too bad on Prop 8. We had a similar amendment in Florida that also passed. Good gravy, any one who'd interested enough in marriage to give it a go should have a chance.
